Since the 1970’s Steve Ricketts and Family has been immersed in the marvelous Marine Life Muskoka Ontario has to offer! Living in such a cherished area and being mechanically minded the knack for marine engine maintenance was one that came naturally. To this day Steve and family are major competitors in the local Marine Racing Events .
The legacy celebrates Steve’s accomplishments with Steve earning Mercury and Mercruiser highest technical certificates, plus he was a Master Instructor of Marine Technology at Georgian College in Barrie Ontario Canada.

After 35 years Steve sold his controlling interest, but remains Chief Advisor, in Sterndrive Connections in Orillia. A company well recognized for rebuilding and repairing Stern Drive Assemblies and Transmissions for Boat Owners and Marinas all across Canada.
During all that time, and being hands on, Steve always knew there was always a need to manufacture best quality machined Canadian Made Marine Parts at very reasonable prices!
In May 2020 Steve’s dream to provide what Marine Customers everywhere really needed came true. The successful introduction of Gears And More was embraced immediately!
